A Letter to a Fellow Loss Mama

Hey Mama,

I don’t know if you need to hear this as much as I did in those early days, or even how much I needed to write it to believe it. Who ever you are this is for you and your angel baby. I know you’ve just been through the unimaginable. Nothing seems fair or right in the world and I can tell you it’s not. This wasn’t the way it should have gone, but you will be okay, maybe not today, but one day. I can promise you it will get easier but that doesn’t mean your love for your baby will diminish. You will always be a mama to that precious little one. Nobody knows your pain or the love you have for your child except you, because you have and will always will have the honour of being their mom. You were their entire world. You have watched over them for their whole life and now they will watch over you for all of yours.

I see you, I hear you, I feel you, I am just like you.

Sending you love and strength from a fellow loss mama,

Jen
